Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm

If this game was a movie it would be like "Speed".
The Storm just had to keep the Bus moving above 80kph and defuse the Bomb.

Was just your basic footy from the Storm, nothing fancy at all, Like Cameron was saying above, it was an ugly win, but at least we take Pole Position :)

Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm

Yeah the strip ball rule is a bit of an oddity if uiu look carefully at it's wording. So that strip on Hoffman, technically is ok IMHO. It's a tight one, all the Storm boys are a playing off the same score-sheet. You can see NAS and J Bromwich playing it easy as they go, nothing too overly fancy. Gr...

Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm

We could do with targeting our kicks to Maumalo.
I feel we can get some good line breaks through Blair, Lino & Johnson if we are able to give them just a little bit more extra attention.

Surprised they have decided to leave out Afoa.

Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm

To me I feel this will have to be a game of Speed VS Brawn.
Let's hope we can run circles around them and tire them out good and proper.
But for me today, it'll be interesting to see if we can weather their power of their strong runners and hard hitters.

Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm

Like most teams in the comp, where it comes to playing certain teams, the public ain't interested. But when ever clubs play the Storm, everyone wants to come out and see their club topple the best. And the opposition always play as if it's their Grand-Final when they the Storm. So it's always a conc...

Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm

Glasby to wear 13. Dale from the bench, best case scenario. I wonder if CB will now look to rest some of the forwards who have been epic through this origin period. Good time to do it with Jesse back, Tui playing so well and the signing of Vete. NAS, Welch and Kenny have been sensational. Kenny's g...

Definitely, you can see Kamikamica is so focused in eating up the metres, he's really got a good overall game for a front rower.
The team runs well with him in the side.

Re: Round 18 - Sea Eagles vs Storm

When you're in the position they're in you tend to focus on these things a little more. When I saw the 24 man squad named I honestly could not find a player that didn't deserve a run. Every one of them was playing well enough. We are in a good position and will be at full strength soon enough for t...

Re: Round 18 - Sea Eagles vs Storm

You are allowed to strip the ball when trying to prevent a try. Yeah I was sorta thinking when Curtis was crossing the line for a try there were already two in the tackle while it was stripped. But I guess you are allowed to strip if someone was in in the act of scoring a try. But it's up for inter...

Re: Round 18 - Sea Eagles vs Storm

With Barrett coming out saying what he's saying he has to understand that it is easy to say things against Manly too. How many Head High Tackles were made by Manly players that were not penalised, I felt glad just to get the ones we did, but a lot went with a blind eye from the refs. The first try b...

Well dome for Youngie His last game before he goes away on his mission. I love you Youngie Thank you O0 Good on ya Cameron, good shout out for YT. Re: Round 17 v Dragons

Great victory, sketchy in parts, but that's footy. My only concern was that when you look at each player in the Storms line-up tonight you know pretty much what each player will bring. When I think of Kenny B, I think of jinking runs that has a good job of splitting defenders and his ability to get ...
