Re: Storm Player of the Year Awards

A winger won it but wasn't the best back? I'd have thought the two would go hand in hand.

Re: Official thread and signing news

In days gone, we had our superstar spine, a strong but underrated pack, a number of young guns pushing for first grade and supplemented by a couple of journey men / outcasts. In light of what Penrith have done I wonder how Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk and the Club as a whole will view their collecti...

Re: Official thread and signing news

I have no serious concerns over Grant. Hughes started the season poorly, ended the season poorly and gets injured a lot. Munster saves his best footy for when he plays for QLD or when his contract is coming up for renewal. Paps I've spoken about before. Not ruling any of them out, not saying they a...

Re: Preliminary Final vs Panthers @ Accor Stadium

there is no team of 13 that beats the broncos or panthers in a big game Me thinks Craig needs to take the team back to defensive school. If we can't bash the ball up or move it around with flair then we can always defend. Defend well and complete our sets, something that used to almost be the mantr...

Re: Preliminary Final vs Panthers @ Accor Stadium

In fact id say there is no other coach in the comp that could take our current squad to a prelim final so you could say craig has overachieved this year getting this group to the game before the grand final. Until we have better middles at the club we dont do any better. No spine or back line can p...

2023, The post mortem

The most apt comment has been (wall)paper over the cracks. Calls that Paps (and Sua) would've made a difference last night against the Panthers and the season are maybe, just a little, over stated. Sure a bit more spark last night would've been great, and I did have a wondering towards the end of th...

Re: Preliminary Final vs Panthers @ Accor Stadium

It's all very well to say we need to make changes but we've made our choices, we must work with what we have, team selections and match day decisions need looking at.

We can't just go and get guns, every club is wanting the same.

The biggest shake up needs to start from the top.

Panthers 4th try, Munster miss again. How many times do I say it, he cannot tackle.

Re: Preliminary Final vs Panthers @ Accor Stadium

Panthers leading 12-4 and Olam has scored four tries.
2 incorrect reads in defence (maybe justifiably no confidence in Munster), drops a certain try and scores one.
