Re: lima staying at the storm!!!!!

maybe it would be best if Jeff left. All these rumuors and innuendo and speculation doesn't do Melbourne Storm any good. The Tiggers offer $$$$$$$$$$$$ might just be to good to knock back. We seem to be loading up on prop stocks who have some NRL experience but haven't quite made it yet. Could be a ...

Re: Anthony Watmough for Whom?

Well...Frank Ponissi doesn't seem to think that it is ever going to happen. I like the words "categorically state". Probably choco's management team trying desperately to get him to the best League team in the country rather than Storm having any real interest (due to salary cap concerns a...

Re: Anthony Watmough for Whom?

I...for one...am dismayed by this rumour. Why would we want Watmough at the expense of DJ and another starting player (at least) from the 2009 GF Team. I understand that DJ aint gonna go on forever, but we have some very handy back rowers in Hoffy, Sika and now Blairy with a heap of other guys who c...

Re: lima staying at the storm!!!!!

Looks like it is 2 way traffic with Jeff. We obviously still have ongoing salary cap issues and Jeff appears to be the one that might be squeezed out. Would much prefer that DJ stays a career Storm player. He would be missed (OBVIOUSLY) but there appear to be some very exciting and genuine front row...

Re: 2010 potential

Inneresting that the club is still not officially talking about Jeff Lima as a "loss" from the GF side. He is obviously the class clown and well liked by the team. Maybe Mr Bellamy is not so keen to lose him. But all other points are well made....by rights the team should "POTENTIALLY...

Re: YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

The boys are credit to themsleves...to the Club...to the coaching staff...to the jersey and to us. How could it get any better than this.....2 Premierships in one day. Finchy's gamble to play for less money but play with a team of SUPERSTARS was priceless. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

Re: Go Melbourne!!!

some of those are PURE GOLD.......loved the one about where he/she would rather stick a hot needle through their eye than support Parradoesntmatta while another one said that they would rather support homosexuals and the Mardi Gras than Parradoesntmatta. Ok...the 2nd one wasn't very politically corr...

Re: Gus at it again!

Maybe David Gallop could initiate a Scheme where 5 brains are grown in a laboratory and each one is grafted separately into Gus' head to see if one will stick. I don't think I have heard of a more ridiculously stupid suggestion. Well said Buzz....why not just develop a flexible playing rooster...whi...

Re: Did anyone else notice GI kiss the Storm logo on his jersey ?

there is the world football "ssshhh" that you talk about...however with the photo above I think you'll find he kissed his fingers and held them up to someone in the stand (sorta like blowinga kiss their way as in a recognition of some sort). It was GI kissing the Storm logo on his jersey t...

Re: Did anyone else notice GI kiss the Storm logo on his jersey ?

kissed his finger and waved it at the crowd as he came in on the flight path and then after he had landed and he was on his feet and the team mobbed him...he pinched at his jersey and pulled up the Storm logo and kissed it.

Did anyone else notice GI kiss the Storm logo on his jersey ?

After intercepting the Thaiday pass and sprinting 80m to score under the black dot...GI definitely pulled his jersey up at the Storm logo on his chest and kissed it. What a sensational image...obviously the jersey, his teammates, the club mean a whole lot more to the great man than many of us could ...

Re: Looks like Lima is gone next year.

Brian Waldron...this would an absolute travesty if it happens.....put an end to the MADNESS. spose the signing of John Kite from Canterbury makes more sense now. A prop on minimal $$ allows us to offload a prop on bigger $$. This is a major wank though....love Lima and DON'T WANT TO SEE HIM GO  :x :...
