Re: Tri Nations Game 1 - Aus V Kiwis
I can't figure out who to barrack for. The Australian team has too many players I dislike, whilst the Kiwi team are Kiwi! :) Will make it fun next Saturday night for the next game! yeh, i think the coverage was pretty average, didn't show enough replays of Vangana's 'try' The Video ref were a bit e...

Re: Gear out the Door - THIS WEEKEND
We went on saturday morning and it was quite busy with people buy plenty of stuff. The two things I really wanted the didn't have left, shorts and one of those blue tracksuit top/jacket things, but still managed to come away with a bag full of stuff. Do rugby fever do this every year or was th...

Re: Robins into SuperLeague
Yes this certainly takes away some of the dissapointment of last weekend for me. as a life long rovers fan i am over the moon. but it is just my luck that I move away and the following season they have succes after being in the dudrums for the last 20 years or so!! Listen to it on internet last nigh...

Re: ticket problems!!!
Just a reminder - for phone orders, tickets can only be picked up from those select agencies. Otherwise you can visit an agency and purchase the tickets directly from there and get them at the same time. Regional Victorian outlets include: Ballarat Bendigo Geelong Mornington Sale Shepparton ...

Re: ticket problems!!!
no, it missed the main point of my post (damn computer!!!) it was meant to read something like:- who is responsible for the distribution of tickets, as with the parramatta game the tickets are only available for pick-up from Melbourne outlets. Fine if you live in the city, but I live about 2 hours a...

Re: Everyone is hopping onboard!

See all you guys in Sydney (flights and hotels booked, Mrs will be on the phone for tix first thing) Now we are in...

Re: Matt Geyer- Should he retire if we win.
thought geyer did pretty well for us last night. but I feel he will have a greater contribution to the club next year by taking a role like the one robbie kearns does. but still retained on the playing register as back-up for our outside backs. i thought he'd signed a new contract this year. why did...

Re: Adam Blair
totally agree, his confidence has really come on in the last month or so. I think it was the tigers game where he played really well and seems to have come on since then and claimed to be a true first team player....and still only 21

Re: Drop Geyer?
if he could take high balls in defence like he did the one for his try I would not drop him, but he doesn't. I think geyers contract extension is more to do with the influence he has with the younger players around the club. more in the Kearns role this year. on the field of play I don't think geyer...

Re: Too much or not enough noise at a game?
having never been to an away game, how does the OP atmosphere compare to other grounds. As a rugby supporter from the UK, my team (Hull k.r.) play in the league under Super League and get avareage crowds of around 2500-3000 but there seems to be more atmosphere and crowd involvment. There is a grea...
