Re: R9 - Melbourne vs Manly-Warringah

No doubt if Manly had won, the press would be talking about their great depth in the playing group. But because they lost, all I've heard and read is how "ravaged by injury" they were. A couple of old cliches I learnt when I first started playing footy..."you're only as good as the te...

Re: Farewell Hoffy

Just saw Hoffy's video message. I reckon he nearly had a tear in the eye by the end of it. He is and always will be a Storm champion and he deserves everything he's entitled to. I am sure we'll see him back in some capacity at the club. The supporter base should make the club well aware of this when...

Re: Heritage Hoodie and the Issue with Modern Jerseys

For me the '99 jersey with lightning bolts has always been the favourite, although I also was keen on the Kooga '09 jersey. Same design as previous Reebok version but just looked so much better.

Why the hell would you have that written?....inspiration, I think not.

To me it just shows a loose cannon in waiting.

Re: Rep Weekend

Lodge is a good player but still not sold on him after the redneck-esque posts on his facebook Now reading about a homophobic taunt to a Qld player late in the game and that Lodge had the 'c' word written on his wrist strapping. I can only imagine who made the taunt. If I'm right, this guy shouldn'...

Re: Rep Weekend

Good to see all the Storm boys play well for their respective countries. There's nothing like a rep game to gain a bit of form....well done Billy, hopefully that's the kick start he's needed.

As long as he holds onto kick returns better than he did on Anzac Day a couple of years ago. Also, an excellent back up, if not primary goal kicker.

Re: Rd.8 ANZAC DAY - Melbourne Storm vs NZ Warriors

I want to say... It has been easy supporting Storm because they made a habit of winning. We have been really spoilt with some of the best players in NRL playing for us. My Champion Team have stayed mentally tough for 9 yrs or so and been at the top of their game.(more than any other nrl club) consi...
