Re: Round 8 v Rabbitohs
Only four offloads apparently? All led to us creating yardage up the field and us scoring points.

Re: Round 8 v Rabbitohs
Meaney keep losing his one on one battles.
Would be cool if Harry stopped trying to win penalties every second run.

Re: Round 8 v Rabbitohs
The backrow looks pretty sorted for now so it's going to be tough to see Howarth get a go in the 17. Good to see him around the squad though. Shows he's close finally.

Re: Round 7 vs Sydney Roosters
Those vote totals are weird. Storm were the better team for a majority of the game but don’t come away with the top vote getter? Sure….

Re: Round 7 vs Sydney Roosters
Crazy Tedesco got off so lightly. He has two teammates that would've been binned and given weeks for that trip.

Re: Round 7 vs Sydney Roosters
Paps only went 5-6m a run tonight. Such a key component for us with and without the ball but we’ve gotta figure out a way for him to do more with less and get him some open space. He’s simply not a threat on kick returns atm and the dummy half runs for 2m don’t really do anything.

Re: Round 7 vs Sydney Roosters
Amazes me that Klein is/was viewed as the number one ref. Genuinely feels like he makes shit up.

Re: Round 7 vs Sydney Roosters
Harry gets 1m out from the try line and just loses his mind.

Re: Round 7 vs Sydney Roosters
Can the refs sort out whether or not a player is actually trying to get up and run or play the ball? That one on NAS was insane. 6’9 dude on one knee at the try line is probably not looking to gain metres there. Sloppy half. A bit wasteful. Not sure why Munster is so quite and we need Paps to play s...

Re: Round 7 vs Sydney Roosters
Pretty sure I read we've won our past 8 with Klein as referee. I don't think any fanbase thinks much of him tbh so nice to know we still come out on top despite his bs. Hopefully a much easier week for the right edge. A get right matchup for Meaney with only old man Michael Jennings to deal with. Go...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Going to become a rather large topic of discussion very soon.Shuttlesworth99 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 11:16 pm Paps stands out to me on that list.
Be interesting what that future holds.

Re: Round 7 vs Sydney Roosters
Strange that a tactic that was used so frequently and successfully last season seems “weird” to you this season though. I said your push for Garlick was weird. Both because Wishart has been totally fine in his minimal role and that whatever success came from starting Garlick last season had very li...

Re: Round 7 vs Sydney Roosters
Second week in a row I've wondered why nrl.com have put up an early preview for a game :-? The push for Garlick is a bit weird to me tbh. He hasn't done enough to warrant pushing him for a spot. I think there are benefits to playing Harry less and maybe that's why it was "effective" when w...
