Have been watching some of the rugby sevens and the Australian team have named themselves the Thunderbolts. What is the go with that?

I also thought Jesse would re-sign but it is still great that it is official.

Re: Pacific Cup
There is no Four Nations next year because the RLPA have ensured that Aussie representative players get one end of season rest every 4 years. In 2013 the RLWC is on, so the next Four Nations wont be until 2014 and I assume the Pacific nation that finishes highest in RLWC will be the fourth nation in...

Re: Worst recruiting year since 2002
I think Vave and Ryles will be good additions to the team. Ryles has plenty of first grade, Origin and Test experience and is a better player than Wooly and Thommo who provided us with great service this year. Vave will add size to our forward pack, which is something we missed this year. I was very...

Re: Pacific Cup
Don't think so Mattpoet. Only Pacific nations tests at year end were two involving PNG and Fiji. Cook Islands were meant to play NZ but that was cancelled when Warriors made GF. Samoa were also meant to tour the UK but that was cancelled due to financial issues.

Re: Justin O'Neill commits to Vanuatu
Automatic choice as captain? Adds to the list of nationalities we've had here I suppose: Australia - multiple NZ - multiple England - Widdop and Sibbit Wales - Keith Mason USA - Newton Fiji - Waqa and Tadulala Cook Islands - Makimare France - Chisholm Russia - Kostjasyn Samoa - Samau, Tagataese (pr...

Re: Now I'm Ryled
TC I think Ryles is a good pick up. Something the Storm lacked in the forward pack in 2011 was some size, it hurt us against the Warriors in prelim. Ryles brings not only size but experience. He will fill the role that Wooly and Thommo filled this year and no offence to them but Ryles is a better pl...

http://www.fijisun.com.fj/main_page/view.asp?id=64087 The Fiji Bati scored the first try through Wailotua native Kitione Rasotale who on debut showed mesmerising skills and effort to also score the last try allowing the boys to win by 26-12. The Kumuls scored two tries in the first spell and one in...

Re: Dane Chisholm - France
I have been a fan of Dane since the 2009 Under 20s. I remember a final at Etihad v Bunnies where he carved them up. He is quite versatile being able to play five eighth, full back, half back and wing. I can sort of understand why he was let go because he isn't going to get a run ahead of Slater, Wid...
