Re: Round 3 - Storm vs Raiders

And all the NSW fans are complaining that we've gotten an unfair advantage out of it. I mean, weren't they getting one out of the bubble plan? I know they're hypocrites but this is beyond stupid, even for them. Exactly. Hooper has run an article today - stoking the anti-Storm brigade - talking abou...

Re: Round 3 - Storm vs Raiders

Pleasant surprise that we will be allowed to play game at AAMI. I thought Comrade Andrews would shoot that down immediately. Both the Raiders and Souths games will be played at AAMI. AAMI was one of six venues named for games to be played in rounds 3-9. I wonder how many “home games” we will get to ...

Re: Round 3 - Storm vs Raiders

Not convinced of Tino over King That would be my only question mark as well. Bellamy does like to carry a backrower on the bench though as coverage. Matter of fact, I can't remember the last time we carried three props and a utility. EDIT - The answer is Round 8 2019 against the Sharks. Our bench w...

Re: Round 3 - Storm vs Raiders

Based on Craig's words earlier today, I expect Olam and Seve to retain the centre positions in round 3, with Momirovski having to bide his time. --- https://www.melbournestorm.com.au/news/2020/05/19/no-questioning-2020-champs-bellamy/ But Craig did have a chat with new recruit, former Wests Tigers c...

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread

It's a shame that we had 10 weeks off, no contact training, yet we still have three soft tissue injuries heading into the restart :-\

Re: WTF was JAC thinking ???

Thanks Scooter. When I was pulling the above together I saw that he was one of the Turner/Titans traded players but for the life of me, couldn’t remember him. He played 1 first grade game for us off the bench.

Re: WTF was JAC thinking ???

Interesting stats. The questions gotta be asked, how did Chris Walker play more games for us than Soufs or Parra? Were we really struggling? At the time, we had Greg Inglis, Matt King, Matt Geyer, Steve Turner, Jake Webster, Chris Walker and Smith Samau (? don't remember him) - 7 blokes competing f...

Re: WTF was JAC thinking ???

If we are talking all-time d*ckhead signings, it is hard to go past Chris Walker. He gets my vote for biggest flog to ever wear the purple. Only played 7 games for us. Interesting to note that in the final 6 years of his career he actually averaged 7 games per year. He played; 5 games for Souths 7 g...

Re: WTF was JAC thinking ???

Five councillors trying to puff out their chest and display some kind of false sense of superiority, at the expense of the town and people they are supposed to represent. I listened to the council meeting and couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Big noting their own stance on ‘protecting their commu...

Re: WTF was JAC thinking ???

Imagine it was positive... Probably sinks the NRL’s relaunch. What would happen do you think? Would the NRL tear up his contract and ban him for life?
