Storm tweeted ... A ... Debut ...I was hoping they would tweet club debut or nrl debut but they are clever
How good would one of each be? ;)

Still not the biggest change (IMO). Let's just say Brandon should see more minutes...

Re: Official thread and signing news

Brandon should get it and I'm pretty confident he will. In relation to losing Grant, Cam playing on is almost irrelevant in that regard. Grant is an excellent player that unfortunately has a better player in front of him. We cannot expect to keep two starting NRL quality hookers in our team. Both wi...

Re: Round 4 vs Rabbitohs

Craig hasn't messed around. Some pretty big changes to our line-up on the cards for this game. I hope the game plan itself has been overhauled also.

Re: Round 4 vs Rabbitohs

Based on Frank's words on Sports Day radio, our squad make-up moving forward will likely include less big guys and more smaller, quicker, more mobile players. Perhaps Lee will snag a bench spot, or he will start with Seve on the bench (which we have done before and probably offers more impact).

Re: Round 3 - Storm vs Raiders

Honestly, that whole “Cam is stifling the halves” thing has been proven a myth numerous times. It may seem like he didn’t give Croft a fair go because that was the narrative being pushed in the media (Ennis started it based on nothing), but the stats showed that to be completely false. Croft was rec...

Re: Round 3 - Storm vs Raiders

I hate virtually the full week after a pus performance like that... I agree with the above, our edges offered nothing all game, particularly our backrowers.

Re: Round 3 - Storm vs Raiders

How are we they only team out there interfering with the ruck and we are the only team out there milking. So the Riders are a perfect football team. Honestly, ruck “interpretation” is what wins games. It has happened a lot to us against the Raiders recently. They have been allowed to lay all over u...

Re: Round 3 - Storm vs Raiders

The Roosters would have been planning for two weeks on how to minimise Cook’s influence off quick play the balls. Markers were running straight back and A/B defenders were turning in behind the ruck to shut down any darts from DH. That is where halves and fullbacks pushing up one pass wide of the ru...

Re: Round 3 - Storm vs Raiders

As expected, fitness is king. The teams that can play footy through the middle will thrive. Cameron Smith, Munster and Paps to carve up. Sorry, add Jahrome Hughes to that. He seems more suited to off the cuff footy and with his speed/footwork and big, tired forwards on the back foot... Hughes becom...

Re: Round 3 - Storm vs Raiders

As expected, fitness is king. The teams that can play footy through the middle will thrive. Cameron Smith, Munster and Paps to carve up. Ashley Klein’s refereeing of the 10m was a joke. Roosters jumped early and were in front of him all night. He didn’t care. Then he pinged the Rabbits for not being...

Re: Cronulla the drug cheats - part deux

Gallen sold James Hooper on it. Hooper spent his time on NRL360 telling fans about how poor ASADA are with their timing and did not chastise Xerri one bit. He got a total free pass on steroid abuse! He went on to say that Xerri is a great young man that has been given some very poor advice. I can on...
