Re: NSW Media Campaign against Smith and Storm

Apparently Bellamy’s really down at the moment too. I think the Smith comments have only exacerbated things - particularly given Bellamy’s comments ahead of the Roosters game. I think this season has really done a number on our guys - winning that many games any playing a such a high intensity befor...

Re: Half Back for 2020

I love Hughes but he’s clearly not a halfback. He’s a fullback or a utility. Badly need to use the off-season to address this and develop or find a halfback with a decent kicking game. I’m going to get slammed for saying this but I also think Munster needs to move out of five-eighth and cover the ot...

Re: PRELIMINARY FINAL - Roosters vs Storm

Honestly, I hate to say it, but if Bellamy selects Chambers on the wing the Storm are seriously screwed. He absolutely has to play a specialist winger out there to defend against either Morris or Tupou. Interestingly, Hutchison is still in the Roosters squad. Keary’s carrying a bit of an injury so t...

Re: QUALIFYING FINAL - Storm vs Raiders

We deserved to lose. Refs gave us nothing, and there was no way on God's green earth that Suli was in touch, but we were crap. I hate to be negative, I really do. But time to start planning for 2020. This team can't beat last night's Roosters. I agree. I’m also extremely upset. That was an awful wa...

Re: Round 25 - Storm vs Cowboys

Weird game. Storm seemed to dominate, not do much but win easily. Two of the Cowboys’ three tries were really out of nothing. The scoreline really didn’t reflect the contest but I thought the Cowboys actually played quite well asides from a few horrific penalties they gave away. Only missed 18 tackl...

Re: Justin Olam

How much has this guy improved? Absolutely killing it since breaking back in to first grade. His hard running - particularly that outside-in line - is just brutal. On top of that, his defence has been strong. Decision making (which to be honest, was a concern) has been excellent and his contact, fi...

Just saw vision of Munster in change rooms - Looks fine to me :)
I think he might have just aggravated an existing injury. He had tape on his shoulder he was taking off.

Re: The Annual "Wrestling" Media Attack on the Storm

Finch has just absolutely given it to Shane Richardson on Sunday Night with Matty Johns after James Roberts was sin-binned him for the elbow. Really fired up. https://cdn.newsapi.com.au/image/v1/87c96af054228cefe9040783ecce1d44 https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/teams/rabbitohs/what-d...

Re: Official thread and signing news

Also rumour in the daily telegraph there is a current first grade half back being shopped around by his current club Wonder if it is Storm/Croft There is a rumour it’s Croft but his manager has apparently denied it. How would people in here feel about the Storm signing Ash Taylor anyway? I doubt it...

Re: Round 23 - Storm vs Titans

I hope the poor first half doesn’t impact the club’s view of the Croft/Hughes switch, because the issues in the first half had SFA to do with our halfback. I’m sure it won’t and the decision will be made independent of that. Someone said above that they don’t think we can win without Croft at HB......

Re: Round 23 - Storm vs Titans

25 mins in 35% possession. Munster - “I know! Kick on the first tackle!”. Brilliant. I thought exactly the same thing. Brilliant if it had have come off but not really the time and place for it. I thought Smith, Kamikamica and King were all good from the bench. Going to really need that effort off ...

Re: Round 21 - Rabbitohs vs Storm

I'd argue that win was even better than the one the Storm had over the Warriors over the road and probably the best of the season. Souths were full of intent, had nine consecutive penalties and a one-man advantage but still couldn't really take advantage of it. Add in the fact Olam barely lasted 20 ...
