Re: 4 Storm Players in

when is the kiwi team announced , Blair is a certainty,

Lima should be in the mix with Asotai, Moi Moi and  Rapira depending how many front rowers they pick and who they favour if they go for less than 4.

Re: Storm v Cowboys....

interesting to see the offloads, It is like Bellamy has taken the shackles off and given them a free licence to enjoy them selves with the footy, and it is effective Duffy could be the real deal, quick,  athletic and shows good smarts, And has a bit of height , which is an added bonus for the modern d...

Re: Apology in order

i have to be honest when the news first broke , i felt angry at the club, like finding out your girl friend has been cheating on you ( not that ive had that, but i could imagine) And it took 24 hours to come around and think , hang on , it isn't the club, only  individuals within the club, who are n...

Re: GI being courted by Essendon....

Under the current salary cap system , it is a promotion of mediocrity, We will no longer see the great teams, parra 80s, Manly after that, Raiders then the Broncos then us etc, Under this system it is designed to keep all teams down to a poor to average standard, There is no room to have more than a...

Re: Exit stage left: News Ltd demands Storm player sale

there wont be any challenges in court, not while we are owned by news ltd, we will do as Gallop says . Not necessarily, the club won't challenge but the players could challenge through either a class action, individually (unlikely due to the cost) or through the RLPA. I guess they could, and i woul...

Re: Exit stage left: News Ltd demands Storm player sale

Unfortuantly we have to get our heads around this,  like it or lump it, We dont have a controversial strong willed CEO like a Waldron anymore who will challenge and do it his way, We are owned by news ltd , who .........are now on the same page as Gallop ,     and are therfore going to play it by hi...

Re: Nice article Chris..

Nice! He takes away from his point a little with that much Warrior-bashing, though. He is a hated journalist in NZ , Makes a living out of being controversial, not that i disagree with his points in this article, But in NZ he bashes the warriors, the Auckland Blues, the allblacks etc, and is always...

Re: Exit stage left: News Ltd demands Storm player sale

Its heart-breaking hearing the boys may have to leave let alone it becoming reality. Inglis, although does the least on the field, its still Inglis,  :'( Same goes for the other boys. You could easily make the argument he does the most per touch.  ' And I'll stick to my belief it will be Slater tha...

Re: Exit stage left: News Ltd demands Storm player sale

I'll give you the mail ,

we will lose one of the big four , probably Inglis, i think Bellamy will prefer to hold, Cam, Cooper and Slater for structure.

and lose a heap more like, Tolman, Finch, Quinn, White, Lima, and Hoffman,

Unfortunatly, that is the reality of what we are looking at.

NRL 's response to waldron was, if you have information, come forward and lay it on the table and we will look into it.

Re: Cronk, Inglis, Smith, Slater - which one can we afford to lose?

Ive already given this some thought, and havn't gone through and read all the posts to see what others are thinking,

Inglis, and Im not anti Greg at all,

but on a week to week basis ,out of the highly paid stars,  he is probably the one who gives us least value for money .

Re: Players named

I actually expected Finch's name to be in there somewhere,

i thought I bet they are paying him more than the minimum payment  that was talked about.
