Re: Round 23 - Raiders vs Storm

I think many on here were predicting a hard couple of games where we may lose or not look as sharp as previously. It sounds like it's expected according to Phil Gould article - For the Sharks and the Storm, this little period of indifferent form could have been predicted given how far ahead of the p...

Re: Marika Korobiete

IF MK stays with us for 4 years I reckon he'd be be up their with Marcus Bai in terms of how he'd be viewed by fans. We definitely should go after him hard, it's a risk offering such a long contract, but he's young and will baring injuries continue improving. Fair enough he's got a few silly errors ...

Re: Melbourne storm HOME game in NZ

Thanks Sally. Oops, forgot about the bye. This will surely go down like a lead balloon. I'm all for spreading the gospel, but that's technically that just cost me around $80 (based on family membership to the Premiers Club). Just think of how many pies i could buy with that!!! I've just checked the ...

Re: Melbourne storm HOME game in NZ

How does that affect those of us who have paid for our membership and were expecting there to be 13 games at AAMI park?
Would we effectively get one game less this year?
Surely not....

Re: Player of the Year Awards

Tohu was definitely there - i saw him rock up. Not sure how long he stayed though. Spoke to Dayne - seemed like a top bloke. He's hoping to get more opportunities in FG with Noz having to give the game away. He used Noz as an example of what he was hoping to achieve in the game. I think his (control...

Sounds like the strongest "news" we've heard so far that he's staying..... http://www.foxsports.com.au/league/nrl-premiership/storm-coach-craig-bellamy-hints-that-cameron-smith-will-stay-in-melbourne/story-e6frf3pc-1226820368228 Bellamy talking about Cam... `He hasn't said to me `this has ...

Re: heads up: The Supercoach's book

Thanks for the heads up guys.

I managed to get the kindle version from Amazon.co.uk for 6.99 pounds so around $11. Obviously won't be of much use to the majority, but I thought I'd share.

Get's "delivered" on monday - can't wait.

Re: Does our CEO lack passion?

I'm not convinced Ron doesn't have passion about our great club, I'm however convinced he's not great at writing speeches and delivering them. He may not be a natural at this aspect of the role, but for a CEO to deliver a speech like he did on the weekend is poor!! Ron time to get some training book...

Re: Widdop - we must sign him NOW!!

I liked his interview at the end of the game today. Seems like a really down to earth kinda dude. Really well spoken.
Of course he's well spoken he's from the mighty Halifax :-D

Great season so far Gaz. Hope you put pen to paper with the Storm real soon.

Re: GI Turns up to training

Great to hear about GI still turning up. He must feel like part of the team still... I certainly won't be booing him when he plays against Storm. Perhaps I'll marvel at his skills IF he performs. I have no problems booing other players mentioned who made excuses about moving from Storm - Orford, Fol...

Great win for the boys in blue and white. Very proud of the team.

Re: Improving Attack

IMO we have 2 genuine line breakers - Sika and Inglis and without them on the field we lose our 2 best attacking options. Our outside backs are generally ok defensively (Tomane excluded) but attacking (with the exception of Inglis) they are pretty clueless. Not that we frequently give them much qual...
