Re: Official Injury Updates Thread

How is Tui's minor back injury?

Clearly something big brewing for him. Pictures of him look like he's in peak condition however this has gotta be big.

Re: Round 8 - Storm vs Roosters

A game of 2 Smiths.

Both Brandon and Cam were in the driver's seat at the right time. Brandon's energy was infectious and then class rose to the top.

Is it me or are Tino and NAS so damn good that they make Jesse look ordinary? Or is Jesse losing potency too?

Re: Round 8 - Storm vs Roosters

either JAC is out of form or opposition teams have worked out how to quiet him down.

In saying that we've silenced Manu (so far) which is great.

Re: Round 8 - Storm vs Roosters

Defensive hits are great, it's the exact method roosters use to bear us in the past, love it. However , it's clear Cam needs more time in 5/8 it's just a bit flat footed right now but he uses paps to make up for it. Scoreboard not showing the real performance here, unlucky way to end the half for us.

Re: Round 8 - Storm vs Roosters

It's fascinating seeing a purebreed hooker playing at 5/8. Hope Papa doesn't push the passes anymore. I'd say we have the Roosters covered right now, but their left edge looks dangerous every time they touch it. As I post we score a lovely reply try. I stand by my comments last week about Olam not b...

Re: Rd 7 vs Warriors

To be honest I don't think we are expecting to beat the Roosters or Raiders, I think getting game time in as many players as possible is key right now. I hope no one is rushed back. However, the Roosters game became very winnable due to the devastating dual ACLs

Re: Rd 7 vs Warriors

Poor Warriors team but we’re getting a pretty big roll on with Brandon at hooker. Brandon at hooker has definitely been great but mind you the warriors are playing shit house. What I do like is the scoot from Brandon, followed by the scoot by Cam with a quick pass to Hughes... HOW DO YOU DEFEND THA...

Worst Olam has defended in awhile.
I feel he's making more educated decisions compared to what Chambers used to do.

However, I don't see him as the same strike weapon that others in the media do.

Re: Rd 7 vs Warriors

Fox commentators are riding the Warriors wank-fest so hard. Yeah the score is against the run of play, but possession means bugger all if you can't capitalise on it. Anyone can attack all day but it takes a serious team to defend as we have been.

Re: Rd 7 vs Warriors

WOW instantly with Momirovski our right side attack looks infinitely better than recent performances.

Great defensive efforts all around so far. Attacking wise itl be a bit sketchy but so far I think we should all enjoy this performance so far.

Re: Rd 7 vs Warriors

We should also get rid of that 5 minute super sub that appears at minute 75.

If I see Eisenhuth on the bench I wont watch - no knock on the man himself but it indicates what the coaches are planning on doing with our gameplan.

Re: Rd 7 vs Warriors

Would be H-YUGE if they did go.

If we do end up playing them, I think the strike rate of clubs performing out of their skins the week after sacking a coach is high across all codes. I think this is the toughest contest we have come up against this year.

Re: Round 6 - Panthers vs Storm

This is not a criticism on Jacks personally but his first stint with the club proved the fit of his game and Storms game plan didn't align, it's 2.0 and the styles still are not aligning and his output isn't there. Surely we have a pure halfback somewhere in a team of ours to use rather than makeshi...

Re: Round 4 vs Rabbitohs

So proud of Chris Lewis ...it took me two years to meet Chris and he becomes a storm player almost immediately I feel sorry for the other reserve players cause the way Bellamy was talking in his presser they won’t ever get a game this year unless there’s suspensions or injury’s I say the 17 reserve...
