Re: F1 Grand Prix

Mrpc, where do you think Jellyhead will be on the Friday night? Same place as you, and me, and Christabella, and Stormwarning and a lot of other people on this forum. ;) FFS!  I was being facetious :-) For the record, what's the need for crashing near the F1?  I thought we were all Melburnians here...

Re: How nice are our boys!

I haven't seen Billy with his hair that short for a while. I though all that swelling either side of the spine was muscles.  Damn my medical incompetence. Whether or not it's Billy, it certainly is possible that it's just muscle, and if that's the case, I'm completely wrong. Also, it's not somethin...

Re: F1 Grand Prix

I live literally across the road from Albert Park, and do not plan to spend the weekend at home listening to cars being driven around in circles.  Fortunately the rent here is dirt cheap, giving me good value for the other 361 days a year. Cool ... can we park at your place?  :P LOL!  Could do, exc...

Re: How nice are our boys!

I was sent a nudie calendar of some NRL boys and one of them is a mystery player (maybe he was too shy to put his name on it  :P ).  Anyway, what do you reckon ... is it Billy? I've got no idea who it is.  However, the telltale swelling on each side of his spine is a fair indication that whoever it...

You've obviously NOT seen the amount of gear I take to a game  :o
Bring a backpack..

You should see how much I haul around on the 246 (punt road) bus sometimes - particularly when heading home after a trip to Ikea :-)

Re: 2007 Memberships

The alternative is to wait two weeks and see if they deduct the first instalment from my bank account.

Re: Anyone posting results of Storm v Tits?

Given how close the game was to the GC, I'd be more worried about what that says about their crowd prospects in 2007 if that's all they can get to their first trial against what has been widely publicised as a grudge match thanks to Searle's big mouth and incompetence. Good point.  That said, I won...

Re: Anyone posting results of Storm v Tits?

It was a rusty Melbourne Storm that triumphed over the unknown Gold Coast Titans at Coffs Harbour Stadium, finally getting over the line 32-6 in front of a vocal crowd of 12,000. This line has me a bit worried.  Storm drew 12,000 at Coffs Harbour against a team of Queensland Cup second stringers.  ...

Re: Stadium NO closer

I just hope that with the new design, they don't sardine us in, regardless of the capacity demands.  Some of the stands at OP seem like they were designed 60 years ago (*GASP* :-) ) for people who were a foot or so shorter on average than today.  My knees are still aching after that home final again...
