Tiges for the spoon if we can't get our two ruckmen on the field soon.  Pattison is going to be killed on Saturday, it is going to be very difficult to watch. :(

Re: Hicks could be out in 2 years

Meh.  Discussion is worthless as soon as generic terms like 'bleeding heart' start getting thrown around to denigrate people with differing opinions.  Might as well just read Bolt, at least his frothing abuse of anyone he disagrees with is well written.

Gold Coast isn't really the Brisbane area though.  They have also put a lot of the traditional rugby league base off by their early attempts to assume Redcliffe's mascot.

Re: NRL records highest crowd for a round

I know where you are coming from Tigger.  I believe it is simply due to the difference in cultures between Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.  Melbourne's culture of attending their code of football is pretty much unique across the world, the sort of crowds generated would be welcome in any sport in an...

He is nearly 3.  I have taken him to games before and he is pretty much uncontrollable, very active.  If I take him I can't watch the game anyway, so better off staying home to watch it. I had a child infront of me that was 1 so 3 isn't too young. I know how it is with youngsters Pal. It can be alm...

Re: Norths Devils

It would be considered safer on the younger bodies to keep them in the colts system.  Few teenagers are physically developed enough to step up like Inglis and compete with people up to 10-15 years older than them.  Even then Inglis had time out last year with stress fractures. Yeah, thats what I th...
