Re: Round 2 - Sharks vs Storm

First half summary: f-ing Klown doing f-ing Klown things, and Storm laying a big fat turd out there in the first half.

There is a mountain of evidence, over a LONG period of time to show that he exhibits bias against us. Why do the NRL continue to assign him Storm games?
You just answered your own question.

Re: Round 1 - Sea Eagles vs Storm

https://www.melbournestorm.com.au/news/2020/03/10/new-starter-in-storm-pack-for-round-one/ Melbourne Storm head coach Craig Bellamy has selected a near full-strength side to face the Sea Eagles at Lottoland on Sunday. Nelson Asofa-Solomona - who did not play in a pre-season trial - has been named on...

Re: Trial Games 2020

I haven't been able to watch the Cowboys trial as yet, but I was more impressed by Brenko than Marion in the other preseason games. In saying that, I thought Seve was pretty reliable for us last year when he played.

Re: Official thread and signing news

If the deal is only for a 1 year swap then there's no way they'd be able to keep him regardless of how well he plays for them - he'd still be contracted to us for 2021. Just like JAC? The NRL has proven since it's inception, that contracts aren't worth sh*t. To both players and clubs... If either p...

Re: Official thread and signing news

Don't like it. If you think the Tigers would give Harry up after he stars for them for an entire year then think again. We let enough young talent leave recently. Don't allow our future star to play for another NRL team..lol. Seems stupid to me...sorry if I seem hash...Just Love my Storm If the dea...

Re: Official thread and signing news

So what happens if both hookers get injured in the season? Who is next in line??? Dumb move. Disagree. I'd rather have the chance to get Grant back after 12 months than lose him permanently because he's disgruntled with the pecking order or lack of first grade opportunities with us. Besides, Grant ...

Re: Smith and Slater Statue

Slater and Smith are one club players. Both are regarded as the best to ever play in their respective positions. Both are touted for immortality (Smith it is not even a question). Cronk is not any of these things. A club legend, yes. A brilliant player, yes. On the same standing as Smith and Slater...

Re: Official thread and signing news

It sounds like our problem filling the remaining spots is to do with fitting everyone under the cap - I know it's already been said, but if this is indeed true, the club has well & truly stuffed up big time!

Re: Official thread and signing news

JAC will be a MASSIVE loss for us and is very concerning, but I'm fine with Seve and Olam taking up 2 of those 4 spots, and I'm sure we'll have/find others to fill the remaining spots - if we're forced to elevate Earl to regular starter I'll certainly be a little more worried though. I don't think t...

Re: PRELIMINARY FINAL - Roosters vs Storm

I couldn't help but smile watching it all unfold. After the terrible calls/non-calls we copped during the finals, it only seems fitting that everyone (but particularly Raiders fans) would be blowing up about terrible calls in the GF. Way to end the season NRL!

Re: PRELIMINARY FINAL - Roosters vs Storm

In no way were we the better team in the raider storm game or the Rooster storm game ...just face it the 2 best teams are in the grand final this year 100% disagree - we were absolutely robbed in the Raiders game. Yes, we still could have won it had we not made our own mistakes at crucial times, bu...

Re: PRELIMINARY FINAL - Roosters vs Storm

Thanks for the post roostermcgregor , that's awesome to hear! It's probably not news or surprising to most of us Storm fans, but thanks for taking the time to acknowledge this and post on our forum. Assuming you're from NSW, feel free to share this sentiment to anyone you know there - you'll probabl...

Re: PRELIMINARY FINAL - Roosters vs Storm

All round, it was a massively disappointing end to mostly dominant Minor Premiership-winning seasons by the Storm, Falcons, and Lightning.

Re: PRELIMINARY FINAL - Roosters vs Storm

Yep, Earl is done with FG - we have soooo many better options that should get a run ahead of him, and we certainly don't need a Centre/Winger on the bench, period. Just dumb from Bellamy and the coaching/selection staff. Also, other than a few spurts in the second half, Cam Smith and Munster weren't...
