Storm supporters wanted... again!
Well, I know I'm running a little late  this year, and most of you have probably signed up for a tipping comp already, but those of you who haven't, or don't mind signing up for another one, come on over to http://www.nrlcentral.com for a FREE Tipping Competition with State of Origin and Team...

tv coverage...???
I used the same logic on my own site, but considering we beat the Raiders in Week 1 of the finals, and the Raiders didn't win a game in the Finals Series, I left the Storm at 5, moved the Raiders to 6, and moved the Warriors to 4 as they progressed further than both the Storm and Raiders... Check ou...

Goalkicking
I did manage to confirm (for sure) that it was Dustin Cooper and NOT Cooper Cronk kicking at Noosa a few weeks back, and he was hitting them pretty well (Cronk played #6, Dustin played #4). Geyer hit a beauty at Toowoomba, and I asked him after the game whether he'd like to be kicking again, and he ...

Matt Geyer - 5/8 or wing??
After speaking with Craig Bellamy and Matt Geyer on Saturday night, I can confirm that Geyer will definately be "starting the season" on the wing - a position that he played very well at on Saturday vs. Broncos.

Noosa trial match vs. Tweed Heads
One quick photo to post from the night: http://www.nrlcentral.com/graphics/photos/040214melvstwd.jpg I'll see if I can touch up the other photos and post them - most didn't turn out that well. I'll be taking the camera again to Toowoomba on Saturday night - fingers crossed I get some better sh...

Noosa trial match vs. Tweed Heads
Hey guys! Slight amendment to my report: After checking my notes from the game (yes, I took a pen and paper!), it appears that Cooper Cronk was NOT the #4, but played at #6, which would mean that it was not Cronk that was doing the kicking (as reported on the Storm website), but was probably Dustin ...

Noosa trial match vs. Tweed Heads
OK... I know most of you have been dying to hear how everyone went, even though most already know that the Storm won 28-14. Our Storm looked a class above Tweed Heads all night (as they should), and would have scored a lot more points if it weren't for very poor handling. Both sides dropped the ball...

HOW DID SLATER GO!
Two words: butter fingers Both sides dropped the ball all night... but it was stinkin' hot, and the ground resembled that of Suncorp Stadium - very sandy!! I spoke to Kirk after the game, and he was a mass of sweat and sand! I will post a brief match report soon... (sorry, got tied up yesterday - wa...

Toowoomba Trial Match
I would very much doubt if Bell will make an appearance in any of the preseason games, as he was limping around on crutches on Saturday night. I will post a basic rundown of the game with some photos when I get some time after work... (and just to confirm, there was no Slater, Ross, and...

Storm Spotting
I spotted quite a few Storm jerseys, oh, and most of the players at the Noosa preseason game vs. Tweed Heads on Saturday night! Actually, I was pleasantly surprised to see SO many Storm jerseys there - the support was fairly quiet during the game compared with that of Tweed Heads, but the Stor...

3. Matty Geyer (go the Penrith boys! )
2. Robbie Kearns (both on and off the field - a great ambassador for the Storm)
1. Matt Orford (we'd be lost without him)
