Storm!

Yeah it's a pity that our great form this year (better than our record suggests) hasn't translated into larger crowd figures, and until we regularly crack the 10,000+ mark, we won't be able to shake off any suggestions of a relocation I'm afraid... I'm no expert, but as far as I'm aware, crowd numbe...

Ali, Billy, Matty - The suspense is killin' me

Well I did say 'guys' didn't I, and Moala being a pussy doesn't fit into that category :P I find the abuse that Moala receives on this board rather disturbing - we have some outstanding young players and great depth in our backline at the moment, which is great of course, and I certainly don't thin...

Warriors issue challenge

 You would think these guys would be playing better if they were this "close"!

I like the way the Storm logo is so much bigger than the Warriors - a representation of the score maybe...

team named..NO WEBSTER

What a difficult time for a coach to pick the team, who to put in, who to leave out, and no matter what you do someone will criticise the choices. It's actually a good week for Bellamy to be in the Aussie camp, cause if we lose or the players play badly, everyone will probably blame Peter Sh...

Storm vs. Panthers

Ok... I am trying to forget about that last half of "footy" from the guys, and focus on this weeks game against the Panthers. I am travelling from the Sunshine Coast, QLD to my old hometown of Penrith to see the guys, and I am hoping they can turn it all around against a very impressive Pa...

Storm vs. Broncos

I agree with most of the comments and the only thing I will add is 39 MISSED BLOODY TACKLES. Can somebody tell the players it is okay to tackle infact that is the object of the game when the opposition has the ball. Highlighting the dramatic drop in form once again, 31 of those missed tackles occur...

Storm vs. Broncos

My thoughts on the game are not too depressing. We played great inventive footy, and but for a freakish bounce of the ball after the siren, we would have had an impressive 14 point lead at half time. Yeah, but there were two occasions where the bounce of the ball prevented certain 4-pointers for th...

Storm vs. Broncos

Just thought I'd start this thread for any thoughts on the Broncos game. Personally, I was pretty happy with the first half performance of the guys, despite the last second try to DeVere. But (as I mentioned in another post) it was the second half display from the Storm that gifted the Broncos the w...

Steve Bell To Play!!!

Yeah, and he played CRAP!!! Back to Norths for a few weeks for him... I'm a big fan of Bell, but against the Broncos in Brisbane is not a great first game to come back to. Dustin Cooper has been playing well, and what does that say to the young guys that are playing well if they can be replaced by a...

How will it stack up without Chan

Apparently Kaufusi played for the Storm in the trial match against the Broncos, anyone know how he went? Yeah I did see him play in that trial, but Bellamy had about a 28 man squad for that game, and played them all at one stage or another! From memory, all forwards played pretty well, and ...

How will it stack up without Chan

Big Robert Tanielu is a hard runner, but he doesn't secure the ball when he runs, so half the time the impact of the massive collision will jolt the ball loose.... it's simply technique which can be improved. Haven't seen much of Antonio or Sione as yet, so not sure whether they have the same problem.

Grapple tackle under spotlight

Yeah that was a pretty bad head slam on Howe, and if it had been the other way around (Howe doing the head slam), you could bet your life he would have been charged!

Thanks for the link... I tried listening via their website and it seems to work ok - it was a little staticky which I thought was strange... I would've thought they would have a fairly clear sounding reception for the webcast... but it's better than nothing I suppose.
