Re: Official thread and signing news

Apparently we've signed Moses Leo for 2026 but could possibly get him earlier if this is to be believed.

Re: Finals week 1 vs Sharks

All good points, but the 2 key points which I think give me confidence is 1. We have a week off, it’s not just the rest we get, it’s our opponent getting bashed in a do or die final 6 days before kick off, don’t underestimate how much of an edge that gives us, and 2. After that short turn around th...

Re: Finals week 1 vs Sharks

Wind would've played a factor in the balls being allowed to bounce. Key for Paps in the offseason will be trying to get some pace back. It's quite notable how often he's getting caught for fewer metres than what he was. His support play has still been fine but he hasn't had too many explosive runs....

Re: Finals week 1 vs Sharks

Ok, NOW we are full strength for the first time all year. Yeah maybe. I'm not convinced that Sua isn't in our best 17 in place of one of the props. Especially with doubts lingering over Paps' fitness and form. But Sua is out with a hammy. We just have to hope that Paps gets through this game, and w...

Re: Round 27 - Broncos vs Storm

Would like to know if anyone said anything to Warbrick or if he's taken it upon himself to run a bit harder. He finally started to take advantage of being a big fast dude and it's paying off. Howarth instead of Smith is another big upgrade in the metres department for us as well. Both guys really t...

Re: Round 27 - Broncos vs Storm

I get bringing him back if the game mattered because he's by far their best attacking threat but they'd be nuts to play Walsh with nothing to play for. Let him rest up and be healthy for next season. If they choose to play him, I'd guess that it's more about making Kevvie look good if they fluke a ...

Re: Round 26 - Cowboys vs Storm (Kind Of)

There's another what if too but I don't want to single out one bad player. Give me a clue, forward or back? Or, a link between forward and back??? Ieremia. He just generally looks a bit lost out on the field. The Lack of communication between him and Sua was obvious and the consequences were quite ...

I've just caught up finding out about Waka Hammond. Any information available ? Is he a 1 or a 7?

Was this the issue with Blore you mentioned earlier?

If you put Chan in, who do you take out as the bench is already pretty stacked

Probably slightly off thread, does Meaney have a better success rate for conversions from the left or right side?

If Storm can replicate how they played against the Chooks, a win is entirely possible.

Re: Round 22 - Storm vs Dragons

Reckon some of the discourse in this thread around Paps is harsh. His form since returning from his broken leg (x2) has been sensational, and there was talk of him being selected to play origin at one stage. 15 try involvements for 13 games is a good return, not to mention his ability to organise o...
