Re: The Annual "Wrestling" Media Attack on the Storm

I think you're damned if you and damned if you don't, if Storm refuse to talk to these media outlets theyll go even harder. I think that is right, but I have not been watching 360 after Monday because of the sniping . The irony is that the Storm get a really good go on AFL 360. They have had the St...

Re: 2020 Grand Final - Panthers vs Storm

Agree we need to win this , for history properly to recognise the Smith/Bellamy years. At the moment they only show 2 premierships and 2 blank entries ( 07 and 09) for 18 years. This is a must-win. I am so nervous I may go for a very long walk and not even watch ! Having been lucky enough to travel ...

Re: 2020 Grand Final - Panthers vs Storm

They fell over the line tonight, as they did against Easts. They are off the boil a bit . They do get Kikau back. They had 2 blokes with swinging arms , but unless they have carryover points will be ok to play. I was hoping Souths would get over the line as they would have been ripe for the picking ...

Re: Preliminary Final - Storm vs Raiders

Yet another grand final for our wonderful team. Fantastic. Handy that we get an extra day to prepare for the grand final. Hopefully we got through ok. Cheese and NAS both went off early , but hopefully will be alright . Brilliant that Dale played , got through and scored ! The report of Brenko was a...

Re: Preliminary Final - Storm vs Raiders

Unless it’s in a reduced role I’m not sure how helpful he’d be Last week, because Craig did not trust Chris Lewis to give him a go, Jesse played 55 minutes, Christian 54 and NAS 52. I reckon each of them would have been gassed with those numbers. If Dale can give us 20 -25 minutes that would be a h...

Re: Preliminary Final - Storm vs Raiders

Yes , I think a good result last night. A close game, a tough game, with the Raiders winning but not dominating. Agree the first 20 minutes will be critical . With Dale still out, I expect NAS to start at 13. Cheese and Tino can come on when Papali and Tapine go off for a rest. It would be great if ...

Re: Official thread and signing news

Wonderful news re Christian . We stuck by him when he did his knee , and it is great to see him repaying the faith. I know of Jack Howarth only by reputation, but his signing is critical to our future. As Craig and Cameron Smith come to the end of their time with us, we must continue to try to be th...

Re: Finals Week 1

Just by way of further update, Frank’s injury update has just been posted to the Storm website in the last hour. 1. Dale indeed has had a setback last week, so most unlikely to play next week. 2. Tui also unlikely , but a slightly better chance than Dale. 3. Tom should be ok to train next week, and ...

Re: Finals Week 1

I just listened to an interview Frank Ponissi did on SEN yesterday: - He called the charge on Cameron Smith "harsh" and that the Storm were "disappointed" he was charged and that Frank viewed it as a 50-50 charge and that at this time of year that he would hope the player would be given the benefit...

How it wasn't advantage to Papenhuyzen is beyond me, as was the ruling on their kick not being advantage taken. No point in the rule if that's how it's policed.
Agree, but IMO for a Klein game we got away lightly haha
Agree. He has done a lot worse over the years .

Klein, of course, let's just openly rig it now 😠
I just logged in here to get all the news , and it is all bad.

1. Dale not named. Not a big surprise , but still disappointing.
2. Their 6 -Brown - named. He is a very good player, but I guess no certainly yet.
3. Ashley Klown . NO !!

With Tui in doubt with injury plead guilty and cop the week.
Absolutely. He has had such a shocking run but, even if he were not injured, there is no way those Sydney powerbrokers would let him beat that charge.
