Re: Round 15 - Eels v Storm

Thanks Dragons !! Eels loss means we still stay ahead of them on the ladder if they beat us next week ( unless they beat us by more than 42 points ). This is a huge boost for our top 2 chances.

Re: Round 15 - Eels v Storm

Scooter - I reckon your 1-17 list is spot on. If Brandon is out I reckon he will try Chris Lewis at hooker. I think he had some minutes there against the Knights . Good defender, which Craig will like. Barring a string of injuries to Parra tonight, we will likely be outsiders for this one... but we ...

Re: Round 14 - Roosters vs Storm

I agree with everyone else. What an extraordinary team.. and an extraordinary bunch of people. We are so lucky to have them represent us.

Re: Round 14 - Roosters vs Storm

So Lee and Earl still in the squad of 19. My guess is that the plan is to bring Brenko Lee in at Centre, move Tom Eisenhuth to the bench to play as backup forward, and Albert Vete to drop out. Perhaps Sandor is there in case Brenko is not 100%- hopefully we do have another outside back under a clou...

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread

I think it’s more than likely that Smith plays this week. Typical cloak and daggers from Storm about Smith injury. I think you’ll find the reason Smith wasn’t there today was because the moment Storm play a Sydney team or travel to Sydney, they are required to go back to the harsher Apollo stage 2 ...

Re: Round 13 - Storm vs Bulldogs

I was very happy with the win today. It was a danger game. We put it to bed early.

Fingers crossed re Munster, I reckon looked more serious than last time, so I wonder if it will be more like 4 weeks this time. Can’t take chances with him.

Re: Round 13 - Storm vs Bulldogs

Part of me is disappointed that nobody knocked him into next year We can be satisfied with the fact that Lachlan Lewis is probably the worst player to consistently get a game at half back in the last 20 years. He makes Brodie Croft look like Andrew Johns. Shocking decision-maker. Can’t kick, can’t ...

Re: Good article on the Roar

Great article, thanks for posting. Yes , many thanks. It is a terrific article, and correctly exposes the shocking anti-Melbourne bias of the Sydney powerbrokers. This contrasts enormously with the positive efforts of the AFL to support the Sydney and Brisbane teams. It remains so unfair that we ha...

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread

Rothfield tonight on 360 said Frank P told him late today it is low grade AC, no surgery, 2 weeks off- but if it was a final next week he would play. So that is good news.

Re: Round 13 - Storm vs Bulldogs

Thanks Mattpoet. Hoffy has confirmed that Olam was injured but will be back this week. Seve out with a cut head. Presumably Olam goes over next to Fox. I agree Hynes or Eisenhuth will be next to Suli, with the other on the bench. If I have read you correctly, if Hynes is at Centre and Eisenhuth on t...

Other outlets also confirming Leutele has been allowed to sign with us. Interesting comments from other club supporters , pointing out the double standards which had seen the NRL blocking it. Looks like someone at NRL realised they were on a big loser here.

Is Seve injured too?
Hit his head making a tackle in 67th minute. Went off for HIA. Hynes slotted in at centre for the rest of the game.

I thought Suli did well defensively today, given he did not have a strong Centre inside him for 67 minutes

Pearce was so far in front of the line with that drop out! I can't believe it was missed.
They clamped down on that a few years ago, but that was blatant.
