Re: Cronk Signs!!
Folks we do not have to agonise over this at the moment . Now we can dream....that Billy comes back at 100%, that he slots seamlessly into FB in top form, that Eddie Munster becomes the form Left Centre of the competition but also switching with Bill in attack just to terrorise helpless opposition, ...

Re: Round 21 - Storm vs Cowboys
Good points all. I had suggested the rest might come in the away games, but the abysmal performance by Souths today and the fact that Raiders are now 3rd and Manly found some form at least for 50 minutes, does open up next Saturday as the rest week. On the other hand, if I was offered a week off, I ...

Re: Round 21 - Storm vs Cowboys
I agree Bushman. It was not a pretty win, but very effective. Also very important. Putting a 4 game gap on third means Craig can execute his plan of resting Cooper and Cam before the finals. I suspect he will give one of them the week off for the Canberra trip , and the other one can miss the trip t...

Re: Round 21 - Storm vs Cowboys
Oh no Francis...what happened...was that in PNG I am not sure how serious. He went off after 29 minutes and did not return, and the match report said Easts were hampered by 2 injuries in the first 30 minutes. Looking at the interchanges for the game, unfortunately it means Francis has to have been ...

Re: Round 21 - Storm vs Cowboys
Agree that if Glasby is fit - and Munster is ok ( looked great against Chooks) - then Glasby comes in for Young. Francis T apparently was injured last weekend, so cupboard getting very bare with Props. Hopefully Glasby back this week, and then NAS and Jordy before finals.

Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Roosters
I hope we get Glasby back. We need another experienced big guy, and he apparently is the most likely to be available . A better option than Young coming off the bench for 10 minutes as he did last night.

Re: Queensland Cup 2016
If the QRL site is to be believed, he played the full 80, and scored in the 67th minute. Round 21 is next week anyway ! He did not play last week, but was not mentioned on Frank P's weekly injury report - not that that means much !

Re: Queensland Cup 2016
From the QRL website : Falcons won 28-16. Kennar 3 first half tries. Morgan a try. Tumusa and Scott one goal each. Nicholls, Stimson, Gallo and Hampton also played, so 8 Storm players. Easts lost 38-8 to PNG. Jeremy Hawkins scored a try. Croft played HB. Tualau started, came off after 28 and did not...

Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Roosters
No citations by NRL from last night's game, so Munster all clear re the trip. Good news.

Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Roosters
I have just watched the Fox coverage of that initial Munster "incident " where he waved his arms and put Ferguson off when catching the high ball. The comments of Andrew Voss and Greg Alexander are the most ridiculous , asinine comments I have ever heard in professional sport. This is a sp...

Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Roosters
An excellent win. The Roosters had a full roster for the first time this year, and really came to play. They hammered us early, but the boys hung tough and then kicked away. Cameron Munster is a super young player , so tough and skilled. With so many front rowers missing , Finucane, Harris and Proct...

Re: Round 19 vs Newcastle Knights
Well done Kettles. You had better luck than I . I rang the club yesterday and asked for Frank or one of the other football staff. They were busy ( fair enough ) , so I was told to pen an email to the info email address, which I did. Alas no reply- but you managed to find the Great Man, and his respo...

Re: Round 19 vs Newcastle Knights
Yea, he's gone from a late withdrawal to now not being fit a month later. Just BS the way the club treats us when it comes to injuries. Knights always lift against us so I expect a tough battle. I agree on both counts. Not one explanation from the club re Munster. You would expect a report by Frank...

Re: Parramatta salary cap article- SMH
Good to see they took the points differntial of them too. Still, at 14th and with enough wins they could still make it They took away the points they scored BUT also the points scored against them. Ridiculous . They should have been deemed to have lost the matches 18-0 ( or whatever the opposition ...
