Re: Round 17 - Storm vs Sharks - CAM400
Sharks are a bit of a bogey team but they've been pretty ordinary lately. The boys should lift a gear and make sure they aren't taken by surprise.

Re: Round 16 vs Dragons
I thought Croft had one of his better games. Seemed to play a bit more of what was in front of him. Will be interesting to see if they continue with him or if Walters did enough to justify taking his spot. Walters seems to be a more solid option defensively and his kicking game is only a bit behind ...

Re: Round 16 vs Dragons
Glad we didn't release Stimson before the June 30 deadline. Pretty light on in the second-row / lock position without Felise and Dale.

Re: Our Coach
I am genuinely fearful that CB may have a heart-attack in the box one of these days. I can imagine him already having high blood pressure with the stress of doing such a high level job for so many years. Definitely deserves some form of acknowledgement (maybe a statue or a stand named after him at A...

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news
I think Kata would be an interesting bench utility. He's a damaging ball runner when he wants to be and can cover wing, centre or second row. Maybe if they drop Brodie, move Hughes to 7 and Papz to 1 then Bellyache could carry Kata as an impact player off the bench.

Re: Rep Round
Munster was very hard on himself after the game. Hopefully he takes out his frustrations on the chooks on Friday.

Re: Round 13 - Warriors vs Storm
Would love to see Walters and Croft in the halves just to get a look at both of them in the same game. I know Craig would have them playing different roles but will be good to see what our options are for Munster's halves partner going forward.

Re: Round 11 - Bulldogs vs Storm
Yes I believe there are independent doctors who administer the HIA in the sheds, but they don't go on-ground and assess whether or not the player should go off for the test in the first place: that's up to the club trainers to decide.

Re: Round 11 - Bulldogs vs Storm
I think Dale was an obvious head bin - he lay there for quite a while. apparently he was furious at being forced off. As tough as Dale is - and he may just be the toughest to ever pull on a purple jersey - it was clearly the right decision. Regardless of the initial assessments that the trainers do...

Re: Round 11 - Bulldogs vs Storm
Anyone know why Dale and Jarhome weren't automatically sent off for a HIA after that horror clash? I'm all for the tough attitude, but definitely think their welfare should come first. I know Dale went off eventually, but I would have thought with the impact of the tackle and the fact that both of t...

Re: Smith 400
Beaver Menzies played 477 first grade games at NRL and Super League level (which I think is the most first grade club games of any player). But I think the point is that the NRL is significantly harder than Super League and it is extra impressive of Smithy to be the first to cross that threshold. N...

Re: Round 11 - Bulldogs vs Storm
I'm happy to play a player...any player, even if they are leaving the Club, if it makes our team stronger this year and gives us a better chance to win the competition. With the rumours of Joey's impending move to the Bulldogs though...and given he is unlikely to be a walk up start into the 17 this...

Re: Round 11 - Bulldogs vs Storm
I suppose this means Joe will be in the prop rotation? He should be fine defensively but I can't see him making too many metres up the middle. Looking forward to him proving me wrong.
