Re: Under 20's Thunderbolts...

That's real big news Huttriverofnz.
A real shame for Melbourne Storm, but each player has to do what they have to, to further themselves as everyone knows professional sports is a short profession.
But all the best to Pride and your family, I'll be keeping an eye out on his career.

Re: Under 20's Thunderbolts...

I've enjoyed being able to follow up on the first round of the Thunderbolts through here, as there was no proper match report. But some good scouring over the Internet by everyone allowed to breath a bit of life into the match with Manly. See if anyone is able to get this link to work for them. And ...

Re: Under 20's Thunderbolts...

I know Manly got 6 Tries, converted 4 of them.
Thunderbolts scored 4 Tries and converted 2 of them.
But other then that stat, there is nothing else.
I'm serious about moving melbourne to sort this out lol.

Re: Under 20's Thunderbolts...

http://www.seaeagles.com.au/news/2014/03/08/nyc_sea_eagles_soar_above_storm.html This is the only report I can find at the moment. Obviously a heavily lobsided report as it's for the Manly website, but still, the reporter should include players names of the opposing side when they have done somethin...

Re: NYC, SG Ball, Harold Matthews + Scholarships 2014

Either way, both are good friends, easily compliment each other. They both have abilities that one might do better then the other. Both can equally hit a player out of their shoes defensively. As Melbourne Storm fans, you'll be wanting the likes of these two helping the FG win another Grand Final fo...

Re: Under 20's Thunderbolts...

Thanks Fizzer, that sounds about right as I actually managed to stumble across what I thought was a calendar of the Thunderbolts season and it did have like a TV symbol next to some games. Its just when I read media stories about the under 20's being a bigger deal then the NSW Cup, they gave me the ...

Re: Under 20's Thunderbolts...

G'day all, anyone have any information on how many Thunderbolts matches are due for broadcast. I was in the impression all their matches would be televised, but I couldn't find any information if their match against Manly this weekend would be broadcasted.

Re: NYC, SG Ball, Harold Matthews + Scholarships 2014

Thanks to Fizzer for the score sheet. But why no match reports being made by anyone in Melbourne? It's forcing my hand already to leave Ireland to sort this out lol. Here is an un-informative report from the Roosters; http://www.roosters.com.au/news-display/Junior-Reps-off-to-a-flying-start-against-...

Re: NYC, SG Ball, Harold Matthews + Scholarships 2014

He'll be 18 at the end of the month, does that change anything? I hope he gets to play NYC and to a higher level this year, as I've seen him play senior men and he's carved up.

Re: Under 20's Thunderbolts...

Luther, that was a brilliant write up you've done. Hope ya get to see more of their matches and write about them. Now I don't know too many of the players you have mentioned, except some of the the kiwi contingent. Even one via Fiji, the player you mentioned I think is Suliasi Vunivalu? Now I have s...

How did Nelson Asofa-Solomona play? And what position did they have him play in?

Re: NYC, SG Ball, Harold Matthews + Scholarships 2014

Has anyone watched the games like the NYC? I think Nelson Asofa-Solomona played. I'm wanting to know how he played and got on in the game as I take an interest in him and Pride coming from the Upper Hutt Tigers in Wellington, New Zealand. Cheers :-) (I'll be asking for info on them quite a bit here ...
