Re: World Club Challenge
Another thing that always makes me laugh is that some Aussies devalue the SL comp because lesser known Aussies who didn't make it in the NRL go over and end up looking decent. This isn't down to standard. It's mostly down to attitude. These guys are getting a second chance so they work harder and it...

If they go by NRL rules itll be tomorrow. In SL we name the 19 man squad 48 hours before the game though so could be either.

Re: World Club Challenge
Its in the main English RL paper that 14,000 tickets have been sold for Friday. Would have hoped for more personally. Hopefully a big push this week will get it up a few K As an ex-pat i feel i can say that the 'thrill' of seeing 'Super leagues' best players (i.e Rhino's) for an Australian audience...

Re: World Club Challenge
Yeah, well thats where he started his career before moving to the centres but as good as he is woth the ball, hes actually a poor wingers centre anyway. The move back to 6 was great for the all round ballance of the team last season.

Re: World Club Challenge
Moon is a 6 now. Hes been a good running five and adds a different dimension to the team. Myler controls things and Moon, with his footwork, makes teams lives hard in the middle. Sutcliffe is the starting left centre. I reckon Keinhorst might play as an interchange second row next week. Hes well exp...

Nate Peteru is out for up to 12 weeks woth a torn bicep for the Rhinos. Thats a timely injury for ex Storm forward Mitch Garbutt though who will more than likely take his place on the flight over to Australia

Re: World Club Challenge
I enjoyed thursday nights game. Thought we played well and on another night could have scored 30 plus. Warrington weren't too bad either though and made us work for the win. Its the first time in 11 visits and 7 years that weve won there too so that was an added bonus. Something the commentators did...

Re: World Club Challenge
One thing thats frustrated most leeds fans for the last few years has been their inability to get the ball quickly to the centres. Kallum Watkins is one of the best young centres in the world and as he showed in the world cup, when he gets the ball in space he can be unplayable. Hoping Myler and Moo...

Re: World Club Challenge
Leeds kick off the Super League season away to Warrington at 6:45am tomorrow (Friday) your time. The game is on Fox League so if you want to see what kind of opposition you'll be up against, throw it on record and give it a watch.

Re: World Club Challenge
Yesterday's conditions were unusual. The season starts in a week and a half and I've not seen a game like that in a long time. Shame because today was dry and about 10 degrees warmer. What's the chances of it being that hot at 8pm too? It's just as likely to be low 20s when Leeds get over. Either wa...

Re: World Club Challenge
Leeds lost 16-4 in the trial game today. It was the grand final replay. Both teams played their strongest lineups available too. Awful conditions though and a pretty even game. Leeds were held up over the line 4 times and dropped the ball diving in for a try. Couldn't take much out of it because it ...

Re: World Club Challenge
Been solid over here. Nothing flashy but runs it in hard and gets a job done.
