Re: Round 6 vs Bulldogs
Can't blame Warbrick for Fox"s try, inside man got outside Meaney, the Brick had to come in

Re: Round 6 vs Bulldogs
They're saying Meaney has missed plenty (my words) on Kikau, so, a centre is tackling a centre rower. Meaning, over lap is in. Papenhauzen fan / Warbrick hater take make

Re: Round 6 vs Bulldogs
Also that edge of Hughes/Meaney/Warbrick is getting SKINNED, how JAC hasn’t scored yet is beyond me, need to get up in Kikau and Burtons face and stop giving them space to wind up. But they haven't scored. Your glasses are more tinted than my beer googles in Thailand during a water festival. Gettin...

Re: Round 6 vs Bulldogs
Still a bit strange that we don’t think Nelson is ready yet. I mean getting more minuets under him is fine but he would still be valuable playing 20 minutes off the bench for us right now. Agreed Given Bellamy's propensity for giving some guys only 10 - 20 minutes from the bench anyone, including N...

Re: the curious case of jack howarth
Tohu, Kenny, Felise Kaufusi, Welch and McLean all spring to mind too Yes, yes, yes. Jordan was the specific fellow I just couldn't think of, the big bloke who never realised he was a big guy. And of course Kenny spent ages in the seconds whilst his brother went ahead. (I think though Kenny was in t...

Re: Round 5 vs Broncos
https://www.nrl.com/news/2024/04/08/graham-annesley-clarifies-the-surrender-tackle/ Annesley explaining the Munster no try. A couple of points in rebuttal though: 1. Klown doesn't actually call surrender 2. How do you know that Mariner doesn't intend to get up and run? Munster is too fast I wasn't ...

Re: the curious case of jack howarth
When he was contracted was he viewed as a forward or a back? Over the years we seem to have given the younger forwards much longer to progress to first grade. NAS, Tino, and others that I can't readily name spent plenty of years in the ressies as young fellas before slowly being blooded in to first ...

Re: Round 5 vs Broncos
Papenhuyzen23 you keep complaining about Warbrick shooting in this is the style of our defence. For years people have been complaining about our wingers shooting in - there were heaps of similar complaints about Suliasi Vunivalu. I take your point re: Sua, but he has been out injured. I don't think...

Re: Round 5 vs Broncos
Can someone explain to me why on earth forward passes are not reviewed by the bunker when scored from! This is a tricky one and as far as I'm concerned, until they have NFL style cameras all along the side lines the rule can stay as it is. The ONLY time you get a true idea is if the pass is thrown ...
