Re: 2019 Storm Leadship Structure

I'm not a huge rap on Jesse either.
A couple of interesting points for me are, Will Chambers (nuff said?) and Sandor Earl, obviously a strong future shown in him. I think we may see a lot more of Sandor, and sooner than later.

Re: Own the Melbourne storm (Shares)

Are these shares as in "on the share market" and are all these "inducements" in addition to any money made as a result, or, is this simply another grab for members money / entice new followers? What you see (in yourhero's posts above) is probably what you get. It's sounding similar to the Green Bay...

Re: Cam here or not?

I do think the Slater example is different. He was only 10 or so months into his comeback year after missing two years on the sideline. There were serious questions as to whether his body could hold up. Smith is the most durable player we have ever seen and has never really had injury issues in his...

Re: Cam here or not?

It's funny (to me) the negativity towards Kasiano. He adds punch that others don't, he has suffered injuries, he doesn't have the highest work rate and yes, suspensions - which is part of the known cost. I think he has plenty to offer and I believe his attitude can and is changing. I also wonder if ...

St Kilda = The Party Boys, Billy has a lot of history to overcome. Good luck to him.

Thanks TC, great thread idea, who could not love it.

Although I was looking for the aerial view of the "forward" pass from Geyer to Martin at the 53min mark (1.10 Youtube), I know I've seen it somewhere, I still revelled in this;

Re: 2018 Grand Final. Storm v Roosters

So, I was listening to Mac Sports and Mieke Buchan played an interview with C Munster from the Dally M's and he said his role was to take pressure of Cameron and Coops, then corrected himself (with an awkward laugh) and said Cameron and Bill. With no mention of Croft I fully expect Sunday to be the ...

Re: 2018 Grand Final. Storm v Roosters

Brad Fittler should get hit by a bus! https://www.nrl.com/news/2018/09/23/brad-fittler-overturning-billy-slater-ban-would-set-dangerous-precedent/ What a f*cking hypocrite this guy is. Friend drops a bloke on his head - Defends it, blames Inglis, moves on the conversation. Slater makes shoulder to ...

And in previous years the game entry has included the cost of public transport - well the train anyway. Dunno about this year.

Re: PRELIMINARY FINAL - Storm vs Sharks

I don't think anyone should be concerned about him missing the game fwiw. I think what Slater did was the right thing to do but technically probably a shoulder charge. The NRL has shown to be pretty consistent in not charging similar tackles this season so my real problem with this is why is this t...
