Re: Tohu Harris to the Warriors
Very disappointing, could have been captain after Cam retires if he stayed. By far equal with the Hoff, Kearney and Kidwell as our best back rower. Just hope he has a brilliant season this year and finishes with a premiership. Massive loss, will surely lose his appeal once he goes to the Worriers......

Re: Cronk wins Golden Boot
Coops has now won 2 Dally M Medals (2013, 2016), 1 Clive Churchill (2012) and now the Golden Boot (2016) (that's all more than Cam and Billy have won). What is remarkable is that he still has never won a Melbourne Storm Player of the Year award.

Billy Slater Surprise Injury Comeback Bid
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/nrl/teams/storm/nrl-grand-final-2016-melbourne-storms-billy-slater-surprise-injury-comeback-bid/news-story/de4b7e210aa485e3b75b0da2a15eeb8c Is this some sort of joke? Billy hasn't played a game for over six months and only eight games in two seasons due to two very ...

Re: Slater gone...
I would love Billy to play forever, but for his own well being, I really hope he gives it away now. He's had a great career but unfortunately all the heavy hits his body has taken over the years has finally taken its toll. I know it's hard to do but retiring gracefully might be the best thing for hi...

Re: McKinnon could Sue
I used to admire Alex last year, but not anymore. The greed, lies and hypocrisy in this whole saga is just making me more and more angry and to then hang a future immortal in Cam Smith out to dry is just inexcusable. It is very sad what happened to Alex, but this is no different to any workplace inj...

Re: Rd 6 @ Canberra
A few points out of this game: 1. The Storm are going to be pretty stupid to sign a busted up Billy to a long term deal. As much as he is a legend and while others might disagree, no one seriously wants to see him as a complete washed up has-been when he's 34-35 in three years time while all the oth...

Re: Round 2 vs Manly
I think this is going to be a tougher game than against St. George. Manly will surely bounce back from their embarrassment last week and the final margin is probably going to be less than four points either way. In saying this, we simply cannot afford to have poor discipline against Manly at Brookie.

Re: ANZAC DAY
Another reason to potentially quit my membership at the end of the year. Seriously, this club is starting to hold the members to ransom. $25 to go to a trial game, moving a home game to NZ and now this. So that is going to be 10/12 games we can use our membership card. What is happening to this club...

Re: Melbourne storm HOME game in NZ
The fact of the matter is that this is the very first time since the club’s inception nearly 20 years ago that a home game has been sold off to another city/country. We’ve taken home games to the MCG in 2000 and Docklands in 2008 and 2010, but they are in the SAME CITY. This is uncharted territory f...

Re: Melbourne storm HOME game in NZ
This is the tipping point of my dissatisfaction with the club. I am considering giving up my membership at the end of the year. Seriously, the value for money for members is becoming a joke. I'd rather just watch the Storm at Crown on the big screen or at home on TV if this is the direction the club...

Re: Trial 3 Storm vs Canterbury Bulldogs
$25 a ticket for a trial match is obscene beyond belief. I did it last year but I won't be doing it again. Surely members could use their pass to get in like an NRL game. I don't even think walk up fans to a regular NRL game pay that much. That and the fact it's too bloody hot AGAIN for the family d...

Re: Billy Set to Re-Sign for Three More Years - Good Move???
Re: Cam/Coop; you seem to infer they somehow take less punishment than Bill does on a weekly basis? Not sure how you got to that conclusion. .. all three cop it week in and week out. What I meant by this is that Cam and Coops don't play fullback and don't take the hits as hard as Billy has for the ...

Billy Set to Re-Sign for Three More Years - Good Move???
Just came across this on zerotackle. Article is a few days old now but I can see it hasn't been posted yet on here. http://www.zerotackle.com/nrl/billy-slater-set-to-re-sign-with-storm-16337/ I might have thought a one year extension (ending in 2016) would be sufficient and Billy can get to 300 game...

Re: New 2015 Jersey
The design and colouring is much better than previous years (mainly due to getting rid of the dated lightning bolts), however I won't be buying one. I just don't like the material and tightness of any current NRL jersey. Call me old fashioned, but at least the old stuff from years ago was able to be...
