Re: OPinion

Yes, Suli's decision making is a problem. And his defence can be woeful , like those two collar grabs on Morris on Thursday night - absolute amateur hour stuff. But it's certainly not the whole story in our right edge defence. All too often the team fails to slide enough and Suli feels that he has t...

Re: Round 8 - Storm vs Roosters

It is FANTASTIC that we won on the back of a penalty awarded by Ashley Klown, AND apparently after he missed a Storm knock on. Sweet ! I've seen replays of that apparent knock-on from Brandon before the Paps field goal, and I'm not convinced it was anyway - Brandon uses two hands to play the ball a...

Re: Blake Green

He actually barely got to play with Slater. Those were his two injured years and Munster was his main fullback so we didn't get to see how good he could have been with all the superstars around him even. Fair point. I certainly think he'd fit back into the team well. The downside would be that it w...

Re: Blake Green

I wouldn't object to having him back in the Storm system. He was under-rated in our squad - I guess that's what happens when you're the fourth Musketeer to Smith, Slater and Cronk.

Re: Round 8 - Storm vs Roosters

Wow, what a game. There were a couple of downsides; too many errors and Vunivalu's defence - you do NOT collar grab when trying to stop a winger scoring (especially not twice) and what was going through his head when he hit Teddy without the ball? But mostly it was upsides. Great tenacity and never ...

Re: Round 8 - Storm vs Roosters

Not keen on the Jacks/Hughes halves combo. I don't see where the leadership comes from.

Re: Official thread and signing news

Me too, honestly don't want Addo-Carr here anymore, attitude has gone south fast As much as I agree with you I think he has been distracted a bit the last few weeks with his partner being in hospital then giving birth I had more of a problem with him being a goose on the central coast with Latrell.

I don’t know who to feel sorry for in regards to the warriors but this is such a bummer of a performance.
Sad for them really, they were easily the better side in the first 20

Re: Round 5 - Knight vs Storm

Not to be a downer on Paps (don't get me wrong, he's an awesome young player that's still improving), but we do seem to lack that covering positional play from our fullback since the retirement of Slater. When our edge players do get caught out or, as mentioned above, our defensive line as a whole ...

Sorry, shouldn't be all doom and gloom; it WAS a good win.
I think Knights will be top 6 this year.

Re: Round 5 - Knight vs Storm

I'm still really concerned over our right edge defence. It's not just Suli but the whole winger-centre-second row-halfback combo. They don't slide well, they rush in rather than coming up in a straight line - we see the same try in the corner again and again and again. Opposition shift quickly left,...

Don't see how it was if Papenhuyzen didn't score against Canberra
100% agree. In real time it looked like a try, on slo-mo I was sure both hands separated.
