Re: Storm v Canberra round 25 away game thread
1/2 way through the 2nd-half I was feeling pleased with my self then we fell in a rut. :-[ Insipid . A very poor performance. >:( Storm are not ready for finals football. Instead of honing their plays and combinations, Storm have spent the last few weeks bumbling their way through and relying on m...

Re: Costigan
Still hasnt signed with anyone and we havent offered him anything yet. Coincidence, I doubt it. Imo that indicates we're his preferred destination.

Re: Cronk Set For Aussie 7
I think Cooper would be 4th in line of Storm players to get a call-up, after Cam, GI and Ryan. So going from that you can be sure he will not play for Australia this year. There's no way they will blood 4 first-timers from the one team.

Re: Storm sign wrong man
Who cares, Russell Aitken's a gun! He better be! This is pretty unprofessional from the Storm, I'd expect better from O'Sullivan. If we are going to go out and sign someone, I'd like to think our recruiting staff have been monitoring them for quite a while. Rather than just signing someone on a whi...

Re: Brian Waldron to be sacked according to........
I was listening to 2gb on the net yesterday the issue of Steve Turner came up and a caller said that Waldron wont give up without a fight to which Raaay said (paraphrasing here) that it may not be Waldrons problem as he heard he's got "2 nails in his coffin". He implyed that News Lim...

Waldron to be sacked according to...(with source)
Raaay Hadley.
So I guess the great Wally Waldron is here for the long term.

Re: Steve Turner STAYING!
If David Gallop (a qualified lawyer) has sided with the Titans then we should'nt get our hopes up of him staying.
And as I stated before I hope he goes, as he's to good a fullback to be stuck on the wing. He's a rep. class fullback but at winger he'll be overlooked due to his size.

Re: 2006 side better than 99 side?
Until we win the title the '99 side will be the best, however if we're talking about talent in the side I look at it like this- 1999 : Forwards - One of the all-time great forward packs Halves - Outstanding with Hill, good without him. Backs - Solid with not much upside. 2006 : Forwards - Good with ...

Re: Steve Turner STAYING!
I am so happy he is staying if only Jake could stay as well I would be even happier, much prefer him to that tantrum thowing Knight Anthony Quinn. :D I know he's annoying now but I think you'll i.e. us Storm fans, will be very happy with Quinn (ala Mick Crocker), I have no hestitation in saying he...

Re: Steve Turner STAYING!
Even though I'm happy he's staying I think he's let his heart rule his head. As for next I think year I wouldnt be suprised if Boofa becomes our utlility player off the bench.
Where's that leave Samau, Ryan Shortland, Israel Foalu etc, again I'm glad he's staying but at what cost.

Re: RD 23: Storm vs Broncos GAME THREAD
OK performance from us, though I knew Brisbane would be fired up. Steve Turner for mine was man of the match (will play origin for the Blues one-day) with Mick Crocker just behind him. I have to give special mention to Adam Blair who has really looked comfortable the last 2 weeks and on current form...

Greg Inglis : Victorias natural wonder.
Nice article in todays Courier-Mail about us and some interesting comments about the importance of Greg to the future of Rugby League in Victoria (which I agree with 100%).
