Re: All Stars cancelled as Nines is born
How is those players backing up for nines and WCC any different to backing up for Indigenous game?
And if they're so concerned, then play the Indigenous games with teams selected from players who did not participate in the World Cup.

Re: Storm Cloud: Greed, Betrayal and Success
Still sounds like a bit of a News 'love-in' where anybody linked to Murdoch's corporation is completely innocent on all counts. And even though they were the owners of both the NRL and the Storm, had 3 active board members at Storm, and the CEO of the NRL, they all seemed to have had the wool pulled...

I don't see why you couldn't. We quote from newspapers, etc all the time. The site is not set up for commercial gain either, so they wouldn't need a license of any sort to publish others' work. The Mauritian wrote:I could post some excerpts here. Am I allowed?

Re: Round 21 vs Canberra
Has anyone heard how blair is? At halftime they said the neck brace was just precautionary and that he is ok. By the sounds of things probably available next week?? Before he had even left the field Frank Ponissi was on the phone to club officials in Melbourne to get a message to his girlfriend tha...

Re: Storm Cloud: Greed, Betrayal and Success
I still think this book is a few years premature. The real truth will possibly come out eventually. It's my understanding that this story is nothing new to what we've already heard and read, perhaps with a few more details of who was present in meetings, etc.
Would that be about right glennb?

Re: Member Recognition
My daughter's a Billy's Buddies member, and was a Billy's Bubba's member prior to that. I haven't received an email regarding her membership, yet I have regarding my own.
Has anyone heard from the club regarding children's memberships? Or does this only apply to Adult membership?

Re: Round 20 vs NZ Warriors
The 4 origin stars would not have trained with the rest of the squad for the last couple of months, so that creates effects their execution a lot. Also during their absence at training, and on field for 2 matches, the squad's been reshuffled to accommodate for their absence. I'm not sure if the 4 tr...

Re: NRL anomalies
How hard can the video ref's job be? I wonder how much they're paying Luke Patten for his complete incompetence. Two Storm games in a row now that he has not awarded a certain penalty try. And, ironically (??), Justin O'Neil on both occasions. Is he this incompetent in any other games? Maybe he's tr...

Re: Round 20 vs NZ Warriors
The 40/20's by Coops and then by Smith were just brilliant, so were the set plays off the scrum win on both occasions. Unfortunately the 2nd didn't result in points. Will Chambers speed to chase down and stop a certain try after the break was also brilliant. Bobby was great, again. As was Sisa- his ...

Re: Round 20 vs NZ Warriors
I can't understand not playing Jordan McClean. He's been awesome for us. Hopefully after a few training sessions with our 4 origin players back on deck will have us executing better. There were some very promising signs out there today in attack and defence. But many were overshadowed by some very p...

Re: Round 20 vs NZ Warriors
Luke Patton would be given the sack immediately if we were a Sydney club. That's 2 certain penalty try's in the past 2 games to go against O'Neil by Luke Patton.

LOL. I did the same, and thought he was referring to Gallop as the piece of shit.Insomniac wrote:Ha! I initially read "POS" as 'Piece Of Shit'!LESStar58 wrote:And if POS is found to be a pivotal figure in all this then there is no way he should be allowed to keep his job at Easts.
