Re: Round 25 - Storm vs Panthers

Would have been a hollow feeling winning the MP with the season the team has had. Hopefully this means Roosters will be perceived as the team that needs to be hunted rather than the Storm even though we're the reigning premiers, taking some pressure off.

Re: Round 22 - Storm vs Sharks

Make the obvious changes (B Smith in for Hoffman and Croft in for Hughes) and all will be fine.

Re: Round 22 - Storm vs Sharks

Additionally, why does the team not have a halfback? I'm as big a fan of Hughes as anyone but Croft is at another level compared to him in that position.

Re: Round 22 - Storm vs Sharks

Make room for Brandon Smith and the side will play much better.

Re: Round 22 - Storm vs Sharks

Brandon Smith was playing as a supersub all year and just as we entered the run home we dumped him?
In my opinion it's cost us a few games here.

My favourites are http://mc.championdata.com/nrl/ for individual game stats and https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-pr ... ts/players for season stats.

That perhaps was the performance we needed to see for Hoffman to be dumped.
I consider it a win!

Re: Round 21 - Rabbitohs vs Storm

It was more a case of the Burgess boys playing a tremendous game of football than our forwards being weak.

Re: Round 21 - Rabbitohs vs Storm

So much overreaction in this forum! Rabbitohs played a near perfect game. Storm hung in there with two goofballs in Ryan Hoffman and Cheyse Blair.
We will bounce back!

Get Brandon Smith, Suliasi and Stimson (into the starting team) and we'll get revenge on GF day.

Our grand final opponents from last year appear to have a hangover from it too.

Re: Round 5 - Tigers vs Storm

More Brandon Smith. Less Ryan Hoffman. Less (much less) Young Tonumaipea. Brodie Croft can stay. Why? 1) We don't have better options. 2) He's good and will show it eventually. He's clearly been singled out by teams and hasn't adjusted to it. He'll come right. Brandon Smith has barely played a bad m...

Gobsmacked that the refs didn't believe the hit on Slater was a send off or sin bin offense. A clench fist, with it being late seems to me like it'd be a straightforward decision. Then again, the NRL refs are not known for intuitive rulings.
