Re: Wait ... there's a bright side?!?!

It was a joke - but your point is valid, too.

Re: Robbie Kearns Plee to Supportors

Interesting proposition put up on LU. Robbie Kearns or at least a former player, doesnt have to be from the Storm, to be the next CEO. Whats Robbie Ross doing these days, he was pretty cluey. You do realise that CEOs usually have a finance/business background?   :P Yeah, look how well that worked o...

Re: Wait ... there's a bright side?!?!

While we're looking at the bright side - at least we can now say that we've won everything.

I'm talking about the wooden spoon.

You're right.  It would work better - plus it has more of a rugby league feel to it.

Re: So whose staying...

Someone should paint a banner with "You'll never walk alone" on it.  I imagine Fox Sports would show it on TV and it may even be shown in match highlights.  It might not start people singing straight away but at least it puts it in the minds of the fans.  You have to start somewhere.

Re: Short term, medium term, long term

I think a rebrand is necessary for the 2011 season.  I don't know how far it would need to go but something will need to change.  I know it's only been a day, but I honestly believe we'll need a fresh start.  I think changing the club's name might be a step too far, though.  A new logo and a new jer...

I like Noa Nandruku's "You'll Never Walk Alone" idea from another thread better.

Cool song, though.

Re: Recap...

The sponsors on the site have been re-arranged again.  Now, Jayco is our sole major partner with Suzuki and KooGa staying as premium sponsors.

I'm guessing our players will run out with Jayco stickers on their chests on Sunday.

Re: Will tomorrow's Open day still gop ahead?

I believe the Victory members have their open day in the morning, so even if it's cancelled for Storm members (I doubt it), just show up in the morning anyway.

Host Plus are gone now, too. http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/melbourne-storm/sponsors-start-dumping-storm-20100423-th3n.html This really isn't a surprise, anyway.  ME Bank and Host Plus are aligned in some capacity. On the Storm site, Suzuki and Jayco have been moved up to "major partners&qu...

Re: what now??

Loyalty aside - and I support the club 100% - I have serious concerns about our future.  It's going to take a miracle for us to overcome all of this - and even if we do, our reputation will be tarnished forever.
