Re: Round 10 vs Sharks
Wishart has done well other than the overall attacking structure. He has found a couple of half gaps and for the first time in living memory, our touch finders have got us decent metres.

Re: Round 10 vs Sharks
Our goal line attack looks bog average. We are plonking up the middle and then very sideways on backline shifts.
Katoa goes over there through a tough scoot and some poor defence.

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
Some players are just more susceptible to certain injuries also. Tommy Turbo for example. Vunivalu was another.
Those with back issues usually also have hamstring issues.

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
Impact injuries like those Paps has had are almost entirely bad luck. It comes with the gladiator sport that is RL. Soft tissue injuries like calves and hamstrings on the other hand, (whilst still impacted by elements of luck) are more manageable with high quality medical systems. Some kind of NRL i...

Re: Round 10 vs Sharks
I can appreciate gritty, close wins when we put in great defensive efforts, over quality opposition.
When we leak 20+ points though and barely scrape home in a shootout, it’s not quite the same.
Really need to tighten the defence up whilst settling on a pack that can consistently punch holes.

Re: Official thread and signing news
Reimis being shopped around isn’t good at all IMO. He is the only centre we have that can play defence.

Re: Official thread and signing news
TPJ - Whilst we are desperate for some prop grunt, not sure we cancel the ‘no d*ckheads policy’ to do that. Maybe he has matured a bit. But he needs to be interested for the right reasons (Ie. Righting his career path, ready to work his ass off). We need hard workers, not someone trying to piggyback...

Re: Round 9 vs Gold Coast Titans
Having said all of that, our forwards are still lacking something. I love both of our edges, but the props need to lift IMO. Katoa is our toughest running forward every single week.

Re: Round 9 vs Gold Coast Titans
This might seem like an uncomfortable statement but I wonder if we're starting to see a drop in standards and effort (not to the depths of Soufs of course) and professionalism? Yourhero, I think you were at the game, what did you see? Are we as a complete team putting in or are we relying on indivi...
