Atalea Vea

Very happy to see him get a run, looked very good with ball in hand and solid in defence. The hit and spins he showed were very effective against a tiring defensive line. I've been a fan of his for a while and hope we stick with him in the top side.

Re: Bromwich

Let's just remember he's only played 11 games (12 including the WCC in 2010) at the top level. He has a lot of development still ahead of him and so I'm happy as long as he keeps plugging away and getting first grade minutes. I view him as an investment in our future forward pack.

Re: Our Players are too small

Our side is young too, size generally comes on slowly over a few years. Having said that, we did well against manly on saturday night.

Promote Vea ahead of Proctor, I want to see what he can do!

Re: NRL on TV in Melbourne

Here's how the conversation between nein executive Sargeant Shultz and Storm officials will go: Storm: Now that the anti-syphoning rules have been relaxed, how about showing some NRL before midnight on a Friday? Shultz: What new rules, I see nothing, I hear nothing, I know nothing! And we miss out a...

Re: Storm fans

I had a friend in high school who was into it. He took me along to a couple of games in '99 and '00. I continuued to go to the odd game for a few years and in '07/'08 I became a member, have hardly missed a home game since.

Re: Forward Stats

Interesting. Prior to reading this, I would have lined us up like this for round 1: 8.Norrie 9.Smith 10.Bromwich 11.A.Blair 12.Manu 13.Hinchcliffe 14.Woolnough 15.Lowe 16.Proctor 17.Lowrie Taking these stats into consideration (but also allowing for factors such as Blair's aggression), maybe it shou...

Re: New Jersey

I like the design suggested here, think you should definitely send it to the club, I know there are rules about changing jerseys but we could probably plead special circumstances here (wanting to move away from the past years bad memories etc.) and perhaps we could even have the club survey members ...

Re: Beau Champion...........

I thought the worst signing of all time for both our clubs was that mercenary 'awful' orford. regarding beau champion, looking forward to seeing what he can do, he played city-country last year and indigenous all stars as well. He plays on the right i think, could be a good combination out there wit...

Re: 2011 Back line?

Obvious ones are 1.slater 7.cronk 3.nielsen 2.duffie then you get o'niell who will be there but could be either centre or wing, quinn might be on the wing, widdop could be in there anywhere, kelly, chisholm or maurice blair could be 5/8 and if we have signed neumann, he could be in the outside backs...
