Re: joseph tomane

I havent seen Niko play, ever, but there must be a reason he's still in reserve grade. Bellamy didnt have a problem playing Folau at 17, but then again, he had the support of some pretty decent backs. I'd love to see Niko play. Niko has some fairly good backs in front of him: Slater, Duffie, Nielse...

Re: Panthers Game live on Channel nine?????????????????

If Nine are trying to "test" Melbourne to see how rugby league will do, a one off game isn't going to do much. They made the decision late and announced it on a show I'm sure most people in Melbourne don't watch. Not only that - it's one game. If Nine were serious about it, they would com...

Re: Panthers Game live on Channel nine?????????????????

About time Channel None (sorry Nine) did something for us. Although I am a little worried that because all the TV Guides have the match on at 12:20am Monday and they have made a relatively late change that a lot of people wont know it is on, then it wont rate as well as it otherwise would have and t...

I was extremely happy to see during the week that this was going to be our heritage jersey and to see the player's names on the back of the jersey just topped it off.

HS1 that is the most sensible thing you have ever posted.

I was thinking the same thing especially when Duffie crossed for his try. I hope yesterday's match helped make up his mind for him.

Re: East Tigers/Cronulla Sharks 2011

I watched the Sharks v Bulldogs match on Fox Sports and here are my thoughts on the Storm players: Tu'u Maori: didn't really do too much, although was more of a forward's arm wrestle game as opposed to a game where the outside backs got much quality ball. Then he got knocked out when his head hit a ...

Agree re: Jesse's game on Monday, his handling errors in prior games and the fact that he is so young for a propr and has plenty of development left in him.

We could build a long term forward pack around Jesse, his brother Kenny and Tohu Harris.

Re: Atalea Vea

I have been waiting to see Vea in first grade team and I thought his runs were great especially his hit and spins and agree he will give Lowrie a run for his money when Sika is fit. (Although Craig seems to love Lowrie) Simo is right he did give a penalty away for lying in a tackle for too long. He ...

Re: East Tigers/Cronulla Sharks 2011

I watched the Easts Tigers v Redcliffe game and her are my thoughts on our players: - Dane Chisholm: Was reasonably solid at the back apart from the error towards the end. Didn't do anything spectacular though. Didn't show any turn of speed. - Elijah Niko: Made a good intercept, made one good run fr...

Norrie originally only signed a one year deal with us (at start of 2010). He signed a 2 year contract towards the end of last year once we were able to actually re-sign players.

Fonua is a F***ing star in waiting, if we let this kid go we are insane, going to be an NRL superstar in afew years. Also think williame, hampton, griffen and bromwich have the goods to play NRL one day. Can't see us letting Fonua go, he is likely to be the first Victorian born and bred player to p...
