Re: Round 12 - Sea Eagles vs Storm
Not sure I like it but surely Meaney moves into five-eighth here with Anderson playing in the centres. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is the first of many games Garlick is selected for over the next few weeks given Grant is playing 80 minutes lately and he has Origin commitments. Garlick might also b...

Not sensitive. Just think you’re a dribbler.Papenhuyzen23 wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2024 7:19 pmReal fans aren’t one eyed and can take off their purple glasses and call out a bad play or an out of form player, sorry if it offends your sensitive personality.

Re: Magic RD 2024 Storm v parramatta
I'm not sure if we're very good at coming out of our own end with either our backs or forwards haha. It's not just a Bellamy thing. The numbers might be different off the back of a kick vs starting a set after turnover but all teams use their outside backs because it lowers the workload of the forw...

Re: Round 10 vs Sharks
Weird performance. Felt like going into half-time, despite the sin bin and the try, the guys were starting to build and were fighting back but the break came at the wrong time and that emotion went out the window. Similar problems in attack - bit sideways and a bit clunky. Need to be more direct. I ...

Frank Ponissi’s just gone on the record and stated it’s four to six weeks Papenhuyzen will be out.

Papenhuyzen has just posted on Instagram that he has a minor fracture above the plate in his ankle. Says he’ll “be back soon”.

Re: Round 9 vs Gold Coast Titans
Weird game. Way too many missed tackles from the Storm. Turning point was when Wishart and Munster butchered that try right on half-time. Can’t really afford to play Wishart in the back-three again. He really isn’t suited to those positions. Thought the Titans had some really bad calls against them ...

Re: Round 7 vs Sydney Roosters
With the press conferences do the coaches choose which members of the press they have in the knowledge that they will ask "friendly" questions? I thought the media wanted sensationalism, their were a few more juicy questions that could've been asked, ie. "So James, what did you think...

Re: Round 7 vs Sydney Roosters
No game this year is going to be a gimme based off these results.
But geez… You’d think with the Rabbitohs, Titans, Sharks and Eels in the next four weeks the guys could go 8-1 or at worst 6-3. Pretty outstanding considering the strength of opposition to open the season.

Also, Andrew Voss is a dribbler. Just noting what people probably already knew. Spouts utter nonsense.

Re: Round 7 vs Sydney Roosters
Weird first-half. I think some of the passing has been a bit erratic. Katoa and Papenhuyzen have had a few moments which probably should have been finished off. That goal-line defence to finish the half was outstanding though. Going to need more from the pack once the Roosters starting forwards and ...
